A Driver’s LicensePosted: September 28, 2013
Getting a driver’s license in China is not an easy task for anyone, much less a foreigner. There’s a test bank of 1,300+ questions that the 100 questions on your test will come from. The required score to pass is 90% or above. Although the meaning is sometimes obscured by the translation, the test has been translated into English. Of course it seems that there’s always a caveat. In my case it was this: At the beginning of 2013 they discontinued the use of the old test bank and made a new one. And of course there is no access to the English translation of the new test bank. Because of this I failed by two points. I got an 88. The new questions turned out to be only slightly different. I spent a few more days and a few dozen more hours drilling the old test bank and was able to attain a 93. I made it.
Next time I’ll put some of my favorite questions from the test bank up. You can test your knowledge of China’s driving laws!
