Broken BikePosted: January 21, 2014
I knew there was a problem when I grabbed my bike and spun it around to head home. Something just didn’t feel right. I looked down and sure enough, my back wheel was flat as a pancake. The bummer was that I was a couple miles from home. The good part was that Ami was with me on her bike. I knew the fastest way to get home would be on Ami’s bike. I could have her take a bus and I would ride her bike home. Getting my broken bike home was the problem.
I looked at what I had to work with and discovered my scarf could work. So I took it off and tied it around the seat tube and the head tube, wrapped it over my shoulder and I was ready to go. You’ve heard of a messenger bag, this was my messenger bike!
